The “Logistics and Transport” journal publishes materials submitted through the online editorial system. The person entering the article should hold the copyright on it, because during this process he or she accepts the terms of publication. For this reason, the editorial office does not accept materials submitted by email or sent by post. While submitting the article the following data are to be entered: author’s name and surname, academic degree, affiliation, name of the institution and Open Researcher and Contributor ID (ORCID).

The editorial office accepts original research articles, survey articles, research releases and documented observations related to functioning of economic entities, especially in the logistics area, written in Polish and English.

The articles to be published should meet the following requirements:

• MS Word Editor, ‘Times New Roman’ 12 font (footnotes – 10 font).
• The type space between lines 1,15.
• Structure of the article:
  • Abstract,
  • Keywords, max. 5,
  • Introduction,
  • Section of methodology and merits divided into parts (subtitles) bearing numbers,
  • Conclusion and ending,
  • References.
• Illustrative material (photos, maps) should be submitted as separate files, in JPG or TIF format (with at least 300 dpi resolution).
• Other issues should be prepared in accordance with the general rules of typography.

The article content should be submitted in one column, without macros and additional formatting extensions. Illustrations should be prepared for printing in shades of grey. Subparagraphs should be separated by using a larger spacing or indentation.

The editorial office reserves the right to make textual changes, enter abbreviations and stylistic and linguistic remarks. All major changes shall be consulted with the author.

After getting a positive review the article appears in physical (printed) and electronic form. Each article receives its own digital object identifier (DOI) and is sent to be placed in bibliographical and fulltext databases.

Having a transparent editorial policy is one of the ways enabling not only publishing the highest quality articles, as well as receiving high notes in lists of scientific journals. Therefore the editorial office of “Logistics and Transport” makes available to the public a. o. the complete list of reviewers and the review form. Moreover the metadata and information on the participation of each of the authors in the submitted material is made available to the public.
